[Todd woke up early today, perhaps disturbed from his sleep by the fact that something was just not right, and discovered upon waking that he was, in fact, now a she. Upon making this discovery, he opted to retreat into the spare bedroom, where he has since been hiding out... and fully intends to remain for the rest of the day. Early on, he does make the following post.]

I'm not really feeling very well, so I think I'm going to stay in today.

I'm sure the library will be fine, of course... I just wanted to let everyone know.

Well, I was Dr. Reid yesterday. I mean, I was me, but I was in his body.

It's odd, isn't it? I mean, you're still yourself, you just don't match up right with your body anymore. Though that sounds like it may be worse-- knowing you have another person's body, and another person in yours.

It was strange. Like borrowing something very important to someone you barely know and being afraid to do something wrong. [Except instead of being "like" that it was exactly that.]

But I think just changing so much is odd enough. It's hard to feel like yourself.

Well, I can't think of much that's more important to somebody than their body.

Yeah, it is... I still think like me, and act like me, but... I'm just not actually myself. The mental and physical just don't match. It's just disconcerting.

I understand. I have talked to people who changed before, and I didn't think it sounded so bad, but actually doing it was more of a shock than I was expecting. [Of course some of that was waking up in a strange bed too.]
